Where do you ship from?
Orders are shipped from our warehouse in Shanghai, with selected European orders dispatched from Paris.

Which courier do you use?
All orders are shipped via DHL Express.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually processed within 2–5 business days. Delivery after dispatch generally takes 2–7 business days depending on destination.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is 35 EUR per item.
We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over 350 EUR.

Yes. A confirmation email will be sent immediately after your order is placed. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a second email with tracking information.

Can I return my order?
Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery.

What condition must returned items be in?
Returned items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging.
When trying shoes on, please stand only on a clean carpeted surface until you are certain you will keep them.

Are shipping fees refundable?
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
For orders originally eligible for free shipping, shipping costs will be deducted from the refund if the returned order no longer meets the free shipping threshold.

How do I request a return?

What materials do you use?
Our shoes are made primarily from soft leather, including lambskin, cowhide, suede, satin, and selected seasonal materials.

How should I care for my shoes?
Avoid prolonged humidity, direct heat, and friction. Store in a dry place and use a soft cloth when needed.

SHIPPING


Express shipping costs for one item: 35 EUR

We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over 350 EUR.

All orders are shipped via DHL Express from our Shanghai warehouse, China.

International delivery times vary depending on destination and normally take 2–7 business days after dispatch.

Please allow 2–5 business days for order processing before shipment. Processing times do not include weekends and holidays.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance procedures depending on destination.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.

Please double-check your billing and shipping address when placing your order.

If there is any issue with your shipment or the item received, please contact contact@simplerainbow.com within 72 hours of delivery.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. For orders originally qualifying for free shipping, outbound shipping costs may be deducted from the refund if the remaining order value falls below the free shipping threshold.

DUTIES&TAXES

All orders are shipped from our Shanghai warehouse, China.

Duties and taxes depend on destination and local customs regulations. Where applicable, these charges may be shown at checkout or collected upon delivery depending on destination country.

We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order to avoid unexpected charges.

If duties or taxes are refused and the parcel is returned, all incurred shipping, customs, and handling costs will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

The customer assumes full responsibility for all postal charges, return shipment costs, customs fees, and handling charges if a parcel is refused due to unpaid import duties or taxes.

Warranty & Repairs

Returns & Exchanges

We accept return requests made within 14 days of delivery.

All items must be returned unused and in perfect condition, with original packaging considered part of the product.

Shoes must only be tried indoors on a clean carpeted surface until you decide to keep them.

Returns that do not meet our policy may be refused and returned to the customer at their own expense.

Before sending any return, customers must email contact@simplerainbow.com stating the reason for return or exchange. All returns must be approved by our team before shipment.

Once the return has been approved, customers must ship the item back within 7 days and provide the tracking number once shipped.

For returns within the EU, customers are responsible for arranging and shipping the return themselves. Returned items must arrive at our warehouse within 30 days from approval. Returns arriving after this period may not be accepted and may be returned at the customer’s expense.

For international returns outside the EU, returns are handled through our DHL account. A 35 EUR fee applies and will be deducted from the refund.

Customers are responsible for return and exchange shipping costs unless the item is confirmed faulty prior to dispatch.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

We do not currently offer direct international exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, we recommend placing a new order to reserve the desired item and returning the original item separately.

Shoe boxes are considered part of the product and must be protected during return shipment. Please do not use the original shoe box as the outer shipping carton.

Final Sale Policy

Items purchased at a discount of 25% or more are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Footwear purchased at a discount of 25% or more is eligible for a complimentary size exchange only, subject to availability.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within (7–14 business days) after approval by our warehouse, though depending on your payment provider it may take up to 30 days to appear in your account.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method.

Original shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Returns must always be sent to our Paris return address unless otherwise instructed by our team.

Damaged Goods

If you receive damaged goods, please notify us immediately and retain all packaging and relevant documentation so that an insurance claim may be opened.

If the package appears damaged upon delivery and cannot be inspected in front of the courier, please sign for it as:

“Damaged package – goods not yet inspected”

If you do not receive your order within the expected delivery time, please contact contact@simplerainbow.com.

Once the parcel has been handed to the courier, delivery handling follows the carrier’s tracking and claims process, but we will assist customers whenever possible in opening a claim.

Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier, Simple Rainbow is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery confirmation.

Please do not send any return without prior return authorization, as it will not be processed.

When applicable, a prepaid return label and return authorization will be provided after approval.

Warranty & Repairs

If your shoes develop a manufacturing defect within 1 year of purchase, we will repair them free of charge.

Please note:

  • We do not offer refunds once shoes have been worn unless the defect is confirmed as a non-repairable manufacturing defect.
  • If the issue is repairable, we will carry out the repair free of charge.
  • If the defect is non-repairable, we will discuss an appropriate solution, which may include replacement or store credit depending on the case.
  • Normal wear, improper use, and accidental damage are not considered manufacturing defects.
CARE GUIDE

Our shoes are made from delicate materials and soft constructions that require gentle care over time.

Natural marks, soft creasing, and subtle changes in shape are part of normal wear and reflect the character of the material.

Regular care will help preserve their beauty, comfort, and structure.


Cleaning by Material

Leather

Remove dust and surface dirt using a clean, dry soft cloth or brush.

If needed, use a slightly damp cloth to remove marks, then apply a small amount of leather cream matching the shoe color using gentle circular movements.

Allow the leather to dry naturally before polishing lightly with a soft cloth.

Avoid excessive moisture, direct heat, and over-application of cream.


Patent Leather

Patent leather should be cleaned using a soft cloth with a small amount of lukewarm water.

Wipe gently without rubbing too strongly.

Avoid abrasive products, alcohol-based cleaners, or rough materials that may alter the shine.

To preserve the finish, avoid prolonged contact with dark fabrics or surfaces that may transfer color.


Suede

Use a dedicated suede brush only when the material is completely dry.

Brush gently in one direction with light strokes.

For marks, use a suede eraser or suitable suede care product.

Avoid exposure to rain and humidity whenever possible.


Fabric

Use a soft brush or sponge with a very small amount of water to remove surface dirt.

For delicate stains, use mild soap diluted in water and dab gently without soaking the material.

Allow to dry naturally.

Avoid machine washing and strong detergents.


Glitter and Decorative Surfaces

Glitter, sequined, and decorative finishes require particularly delicate handling.

Use only a dry soft cloth to remove dust.

Do not rub the surface directly.

Avoid repeated friction, pressure, or contact with rough surfaces, as decorative finishes may naturally soften over time.

Slight evolution of decorative surfaces with wear is considered normal.


Caring for the Shape

Because many of our shoes are made using soft constructions, we recommend alternating pairs between wears.

After wearing, allow the shoes to rest before using them again.

To help preserve shape, place soft tissue paper inside the front of the shoe when not in use.

Avoid forcing the shoe when putting it on or removing it.


Sole Care

Delicate soles naturally evolve with wear.

We recommend avoiding rough surfaces, prolonged humidity, and excessive friction.

For extended durability, a protective sole may be added by a trusted cobbler if desired.


Drying

If shoes become damp, allow them to dry naturally at room temperature.

Do not place them near direct heat sources such as radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight.

To absorb moisture, place tissue paper inside the shoe and replace it if necessary.


Storage

Always store shoes clean and dry.

Keep them inside their dust bag or shoe box, away from humidity and direct sunlight.

Leather, suede, and delicate materials should not be stored in plastic, as they need to breathe.

Avoid stacking shoes directly against one another, especially when decorative finishes are present.
